Onur Uğur completed his undergraduate education in Business Administration (English) at Çukurova University and his postgraduate education in Management and Strategy with a 4.0 GPA at Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences (Mülkiye). He began his corporate career in 2003 in the import-export department of the fresh fruit and vegetable sector. In 2006, he worked in distribution channel management for a firm based in Ankara, which was a distributor of heating-cooling products.

Subsequently, he served as a manager in the sales and marketing departments of JCB Construction Machinery within STFA Holding, achieving product-based sales championships. Since 2016, he has held management positions at Vaillant Group, one of the world's largest HVAC groups, for the brands Protherm, Vaillant, and Demirdöküm. He was specifically tasked with achieving aggressive market share growth and organizational management, completing all assignments with high success.

Onur Uğur, an expert in field sales, team management, strategic marketing, business development, and strategy, is an ICF-approved Coach, a Turkish Foreign Trade Foundation-approved Foreign Trade Specialist, a Japanese Aikikai Foundation-approved Aikido instructor, and a Ministry of Youth and Sports-approved 3rd-level coach. He has received courses and certifications from various institutions and organizations on topics such as communication, conflict management, and strategic thinking.

While actively practicing Aikido (3rd Dan), which he encountered in 2005, and later Wing-Tsun (7th level), he also researched other martial arts, examining their cultural, social, and historical developments. He prepares interdisciplinary training and consulting modules of his own design, explaining the similarities between business life and martial arts, and his articles are published on various platforms. He has a book titled "Some Things About Some Things" on business life, theorems, and martial arts. He produces content such as podcasts, e-newsletters, magazines, and visual publications, with his podcasts ranking high on channel lists, and gives speeches particularly on business development and multidisciplinarity. He has participated in studies on management coaching, parenting models, leadership, and mentoring, and has held roles such as founder, strategic business development, and instructor in non-governmental organizations, various associations, and organizations. He continues his work on strategic business development by leveraging different disciplines with a holistic perspective.
